The slums of Kanemoria are a dark place for a child; a place of depravity, where the only law is fight or die. The stone of the street is nothing compared to the hardness of the inhabitents's hearts. There is the place Ariel grew up.
Her mother, Anelle, a cheerful conwoman/part time prostitute, gave birth to her after a day of missed moon-tea. Rather than grow resentful of the child, she cheerfully accepted and adapted to her new role as a mother. Her schemes now included her daughter as her accomplice, where she played the part of a young, desperate mother in need of cash. When Ariel was fourteen, she started her own career of prostitution as well, contributing to the family income. Despite the odd situation, the two were happy.
Their happiness crashed to a stop in one drunken fight when Ariel was seventeen. Anelle, who was fond of the drink and visited the nearby bars frequently, was stabbed in a barfight. Ariel was crushed, but had no time for grief; Kanemoria has no mercy to spare, and she returned to her life sans her mother three days later.
Now, at twenty, Ariel has basically accepted her mother's death and moved on. She continues her legacy in Kanemoria, seducing men and conning them out of their money.
P E R S O N A L I T Y ;
Ariel's upbringing has molded her into someone far from the average female. She's boisterous and brash, laughing too loudly at bawdy jokes. The few friends she has are all male; she finds women difficult and petty, hard to talk to and hard to deal with.
An adept at her business, Ariel seemingly has no semblance of a conscience; she'll pick a man's pocket while kissing him breathless with what seems no qualms at all. Truth be told, she feels the slightest, just the slightest bit of guilt for what she does to people. But she's a fighter, a survivor, a killer, and she'll do whatever she has to to stay alive.

Ariel is of average height, with cropped black hair and a wild smile. She's curvy, but underweight, and dresses in patched pants and shirts.
